POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
  Visiting, Services and Activities

Client visitation is permitted from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Individual needs will be considered.

ALUMNI VISITING
Because of the support the alumni give to Kinnic Falls and the persons involved, the following visitation rules apply:

  1. Alumni desiring to see counselors are requested to make an appointment by phone.
  2. Alumni may visit residents in the Lounge Area Only, not in other areas of the facility and only at times that do not interfere with the program schedule. Their purpose for visiting has to be cleared with the staff on duty, prior to visiting the resident—i.e. sponsorship , 12-step, etc.
  3. The staff shall have the right to ask alumni to leave the facility at Anytime if the staff feels it necessary to do so.
  4. Visitation by alumni is a privilege and may be terminated or modified at any time by the Kinnic Falls staff.
  5. Alumni and other visitors will sign in on the visitor’s log (full names).

It is imperative that all alumni put their attitude about visiting in the right perspective. Visits need to have constructive purpose(s) and are to be beneficial to the alumni, staff, and Most Important, the clients. If any of the mentioned groups are dissatisfied, the visitation shall be terminated.

It is important to remember that this is a rehab center with specific purposes, rules and responsibilities and goals that can only be reached through good communication.
